Announcing the Finalists of Our Pantone Colour Trend Challenge

We love this time of year when we start to wind down the current year and look ahead to what exciting wedding trends are on the horizon for the next. Colour plays a big part in the design and styling of every wedding, and presenting colour palette concepts is an integral element in the wedding design process. This year, in conjunction with our 2018 International Wedding Trend Report we set you the challenge to create a wedding inspiration board based on each of your favourite 2018 trending colours, forecast by the colour authority Pantone.
The tough job of selecting just 3 finalists for each colour fell to our CEO and international Wedding & Event expert, Kylie Carlson.  With a record-breaking number of entries this year it was not an easy task to whittle it down. So congratulations to each and every one of you for setting yourself the challenge to create your designs and get your work out there!
Below you will see the finalists for each colour along with the boards they have designed. We are now passing the final judging over to the fabulous Louise Beukes, editor of the B.LOVED blog — the award-winning, trend-led inspiration resource for style conscious brides. Louise will select a winner for each colour, whose work will be published as part of a feature post on her world-renowned blog. I started the Certificate in Wedding Planning course in 2022 and although I had a couple of setbacks, I could complete the course in December 2024 just before Christmas!
