We talk a lot about managing your time better here on the blog because it is something we are asked about all the time. I think it is something everyone struggles with at some point. Something I always stress is that really is no one way when it comes to managing your time well. Instead, there is the best way for you and this will be based on a lot of things including, your personality and working style, your environment and things you just can’t control, such as the schedules of the people around you. Because of this I find it useful to hear from a whole range of different people on this topic, including our students, who face the challenge of juggling all of the usual pressures of life plus study.
Zoe of our UK campus has done some great interviews with students over the last year, including one with Jennie Wu who is studying the Diploma in Wedding and Event Planning. In this interview she talks about setting goals as an Academy student and in my experience, having goals is the first step to being able to set priorities for how you use your time and go on to manage it very well. Goals also help you to maximise your time. So if you are struggling with how to manage your time and you haven’t set goals, you are going to enjoy hearing what Jenny has to say.
