Being organised and a perfectionist are two traits you want your planner and stylist to have, and I definitely tick both those boxes with attention to detail! Oh and don’t forget creativity – I love to add that personal touch to any event to give it that wow factor and make it unique and personal to each couple.
With a background as a Personal Assistant for over 15 years organising high level management and large and intimate corporate events, becoming a wedding planner was the next move for me, when like many others I discovered my passion for planning weddings after I planned my own wedding. While still working, I started out with a wedding stationery business to unleash my creativity and then undertook study to become an accredited wedding planner with the Australian Academy of Wedding & Event Planning, graduating this year.
I live in country Victoria, just over an hour from Melbourne and there isn’t a lot of competition in the area, so I can’t wait to officially launch my business ‘Just Perfect Events’ in the new year. My motto – weddings and event planned to perfection…
In addition to starting my new business I have two beautiful children aged 6 and almost 2. As well as being a mum and wife, I also work part-time in an event planning/support manager role in Melbourne. I am excited to see what 2017 will hold!
