Good Morning!  I am excited to be stopping by today to share with you a video I made recently for the Academy.  The video was filmed in a nook of my office – my creative space.  Students will know that we encourage you to think about having both a ‘work’ and ‘creative’ space in your office.  I find this especially important as so much of my ‘work’ is done in front of a large monitor.  Even if I am browsing the Internet as part of my research I like to take myself away from that monitor and do it from my iPad, on my creative desk instead of my ‘office desk’.  My creative desk always has fresh flowers on it and is stacked with books and magazines that inspire me.  It also looks to an ever-changing collage board featuring images that have caught my attention.  It is where I sit for inspiration, to work on DIY projects, or to just dream a little.  If you don’t have a creative space in your office, you might like to make this a project for your weekend.  Something as simple as a comfy chair and a basket stacked with reading material can count as a creative space.

Now back to that video.  If you have been thinking about a career in weddings and events and are not sure where to start, I recommend watching the video to find out how we can help you.  The Wedding and Event industry is full of opportunities for motivated, creative, skilled professionals.  A course will help you build on the existing skills, experiences and passion you have so you are ready to take advantage of those opportunities as an Accredited professional.

If you would like to find out more about our courses and which one will work best for the goals you have in mind you can also email me, or give me a call on 1300 854 200.

I hope you enjoy the video and have a wonderful weekend!
