Pantone Wedding Colours – Scuba Blue

Out of all the colours that Pantone have released for Spring/Summer 2015 I think Scuba Blue is probably the one that will resonate the best with the Aussie wedding market. Perfect for a beach wedding this vibrant colour is exotic, fresh and really energising. It can hold its own and doesn’t need to be paired with any other strong colours. I like the idea of letting this colour be its own star with just a hint of white to really set it off. However, if you have a client who isn’t frightened to try a mix bold colours then it would look stunning teamed with radiant orchid, but be warned this combination is not for the faint hearted.

Here’s what Pantone had to say about Scuba Blue: “Scuba Blue conveys a sense of carefree playfulness and offers a feeling of escape, reminiscent of a tropical ocean. This stirring and energising shade takes us off to an exotic paradise that is pleasant and inviting, even if only a fantasy.”
