The Winners of our Pantone Colour Challenge

Our Wedding Academy community have risen to the challenge of designing a wedding inspiration board inspired by the colours that Pantone have predicted will be trending for Spring Summer 2022.

The quality of moodboards and gorgeous trend-focussed wedding themes have been top-notch this year. So a big round of applause for everyone who got involved and posted an entry. Some of you really challenged yourselves and posted more than one – good for you!

It fell to the Wedding Academy team to pick our favourites. Which was no easy task! There were so many beautiful designs and professional look boards.

But we expect you are dying to know who the winners are…

So without further ado let’s announce the winners for each colour category:

The winning board for Coca Mocha – @btvwithkayla

Why Martha loves it:
“What stood out for me with this beautiful board is the use of a variety of subtle brown shades rather than just the one that matches the pantone. This really adds depth. I also love the mix of images and textures with a clear style running throughout.”

The winning board for Daffodil – @1_bahamamama

Why Bonita loves it:
“A moodboard should convey emotion. This board was chosen as the category winner because I can easily visualise the happy fun laid back couple celebrating their union. The use of the pineapples in the invitation, tablescape and in the general decor is unusual and ties everything together in a quirky fun manner. This is definitely a wedding to have fun at.”

Why Zoe loves it:
“This one shows the complete design of the day in images. It has drama and gives a taste of what the guests can expect on arrival from the ceremony location through to the evening decorations. Well done, it can be hard to show the full story in just a mood board but this is very effective.”

The winning board for Glacier Lake – @prettyweddings_pl

Why Bonita loves it:
“This board wins the Glacier lake category hands down! I love the simple layout and each element of the board touches on every aspect of the look and feel of this wedding. The combination of gold and pampas grass provides a great contrast to make the blue really pop. I am absolutely in love!”
